I've been thinking about this for a while. The reason why I made this a separate thread is because I want to primarily focus on this topic: Jess staying human.

Now, I'm not giving her the were-dragon crap again because that is too fantasy oriented. What I mean is, in the far future she might be something other than human, or be transformed into something else. But, into what? I was thinking that she would be a wolf like everyone else, or something slightly more out there like a cat. Or, perhaps not a Were at all, but something else. What are your thoughts? I am completely content with Jess staying human. It's just that maybe one day it will be a nice story arch for her to be transformed or discover she is something other than human.

Yeah, the were dragon was a bit much, especially the whole, "whoa, suddenly I'm a incredibly strong super fantasy creature for no reason other than I felt like it!" Because there really wasn't a reason behind the transformation... Just decided that suddenly she should turn into a were dragon. She should stay human for a while, if she does turn into something else eventually, and there should definitely be something behind the transformation. And we certaintly have plenty of werewolves as it is XD

Well, this time she sort os has a reason. It involves the Were gene in her family being repressed,but not gone.

I would like her to eventually transform. Maybe a dragon was a bit much, but transforming could add so much into the RP. If you end up deciding a were cat or something maybe Itaete could help with that. He likes people to be happy and if she expressed how much she felt alone because she was just human, he might change her (if werejaguars work anything like werewolves). Maybe the Silver Hand (is that what we're calling them?) could capture her and reawaken the gene in her? Conversely, maybe when she was little she was a werewolf, they caught her, repressed the gene, and now when she's older something unlocks it such as a bite or tremendously stressful situation.

Completely out of left field, if there are still vamps in this story, she could turn into one of those, struggle with her sudden enmity with the pack and try to fit in that way.

There definitely could be a great conflict between Jess and Kam, because she wants to be a werewolf like everyone else and he just wants to be "normal".

I love your ideas. They certainly make sense and will add a lot to not only Jess's character but the others. I can definitely see her and Kam conflicting, since Jess's experience with werewolves was much more positive than his.
