This has occurred in the past multiple times. Lately I've been trying to think up of an actual organization name for the werehunters, since I think it'd be better if they had an actual, you know, name or title. I'm pretty much stuck on ideas for a name like I always am. any suggestions?
It'd be really cool if it involved silver in some way (maybe a different language?) to give it some meaning. You don't have to, because the name could be anything that fits, and plus this will pass the time while the RP kicks up again. Since the Werehunters are going to play a major part, they need to be more developed.

We could name them after the guys in Skyrim, The Silver Hand, if not, then perhaps...

Argentum Solstice (Argentum is the word for silver)
The Denarius (Small silver roman coins, just sounded cool)

Here's a few: BARZILAI, BARZILLAI, BARZILLAY. They're all the same, those are just the different ways of spelling it ^.^
They mean: man of iron.


Zilar: means silver

Argentum and Canus mean Silver and Manus and Palma mean hand

So for the first two literal translation is Hand Silver

Though ya know in the old myths it was believed that Mercury was more effective, previously believed to be the origin of all metal *nerdynerdynerdy*

Mercury you say? Hm... It could possibly be more effective in this case. Remember that Silver for my werewolves does not kill instantly; it poisons and burns. Some werewolves CAN survive a Silver weapon. However, perhaps whatever we call the hunters uses Mercury as a secret weapon and can maybe perhaps damage werewolves that much more. Although it is a liquid in its true form, it could perhaps resemble Silver?

meh, frozen Mercury will probably leave a burn, though that would mean it couldn't be fired from a gun =S

Yes but there are so many other ancient beautiful languages that you can draw inspiration from!

Mercury can be applied to knives, daggers, swords, the ends of whips, chains, arrowheads, etc. for battle or torture.
